This is a performance piece that records minor acts of resistance against the constant pressure to declare an identity and purpose in contemporary society. When asked, “What are you looking for?” at a clothing store, the artist answers, “The meaning of life,” and when asked at a beauty salon, “What do you do?” he dares to make himself appear more ambiguous by claiming to possess a false occupation.

いつから道に迷わなくなったのだろう。散歩をしていて目についたお店にふらりと入る。店員に 「何かお探しですか？」と聞かれるたびに私はいつも困惑する。人生において、探しているものなど特にないからだ。ある日、ふと入ったお店でいつものように「何かお探しですか」と聞かれ時に「生きる意味」と答えてみた。そこから店員さんとの不思議な会話がはじまった。
